Our fruit trees are never sprayed so our apples and peaches do not have the "perfect" look of a grocery store item, but all other fruits look comparable and are often much tastier than the conventionally grown ones. Our chickens are fed certified organic scratch feeds/pellets and are allowed to forage outside whenever possible (hawks, fox and raccoons can make this challenging, but they get out a few days per week year round).
- So, what do you receive? Customers will receive a produce box each week of vegetables, seasonal fruits, herbs, eggs (6 pk carton-if our chickens are laying well) and a bouquet of flowers.
- Cost for a family of 4 will be $35 per week/delivered - $700 for the full 20 week season. Half shares delivered to Lexington are $20 each/$400 for the full season.
- For clients able to pick up their shares on Saturdays at the Winchester Farmers' Market, Full shares are $30 per week./$600 for the full 20 weeks. $20 per week for a Half Share/ $400 for the full season.
- We deliver on Wednesdays to Lexington with main drop off points in downtown, the Chevy Chase area (to your doorstep in most cases), Fritz Farm at the Summit and the Rosemont Baptist Church off of Clays Mill Road. Please see a list below of what we have in the ground and what we will be planting in 2021. We cannot guarantee every item on the list will be available, but hope the weather and conditions will cooperate to offer as many as possible.
Payment may be made by credit card (4% service charge) or check. We will once again accept payments weekly in 2021.
